Smog from China reaches Western U.S.

On January 20, 2010, a smog of chemicals reached Western America. It is believed that the smog traveled over the Pacific from China. The United States is questioning whether to blame China. The amount of gas increased since 1984 is 29%, not including local vehicles or industries. This problem affect human health and the green house effect. All nations are worrying about the green house affect heating up the world. Mary Nichols states that air pollution keeps traveling around the globe. Fortunately, ground ozone has decreased in major cities because of plans to reduce pollution. The side effects of ground ozone gives asthma and may lead to heart or lung diseases. These diseases causes premature deaths.
